Scope

This policy describes the current Mouse DPI Tester website and its browser-based measurement tool.

Test information

The tool processes the distance and expected DPI you enter, mouse movement during a test and calculated results in your browser. Our application does not send these measurements to a server. Session results are held in memory and disappear when you reload or close the page.

Accounts, preferences and advertising

The public measurement tool does not require an account. We store your light or dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage; no test measurements are stored with that preference. You can remove it by clearing this website’s site data in your browser. This version does not include advertising scripts.

Google Analytics

Mouse DPI Tester uses Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and usage and improve the website. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect information such as pages viewed, referral sources, website interactions, browser and device details, and approximate location. Your browser sends technical connection information, including your IP address, to Google when the service loads. This is separate from the mouse measurements processed locally by the tool. Our analytics configuration does not intentionally send your entered distance, expected DPI, mouse movement measurements or test results to Google Analytics.

Learn how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services and read Google’s Privacy Policy. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on in supported browsers. Browser privacy settings and tracking blockers may also limit collection. Clearing cookies removes stored cookies but does not by itself prevent new ones from being set on a later visit.

Hosting information

Serving a website necessarily involves network information such as an IP address, requested URL and browser headers. Hosting providers may process access and security logs under their own policies. We do not control all provider retention periods and do not promise that visiting the site creates no logs.

Links to documentation or manufacturer websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. We do not control their data collection.

Information you send

If you email kuwar.ankit@gmail.com, your email address, message and any attachments are processed through our email provider to respond to your inquiry or investigate an issue. Contact the same address with privacy questions or a request concerning correspondence you have sent us. Only include information needed to resolve your issue; do not send passwords, payment information or unrelated sensitive data.

Children and sensitive information

The tool does not ask for age, identity, location or sensitive personal information. It is intended as a general measurement utility.
